New Year's Up North Eve

Some people like to get to warmer places when winter strikes. Not me! For the last four New Year's I've been treasuring up north giveaways at my friends' cozy cottage near sleeping bear dunes. And this year was a blissfully white, full-of-the-snow-we-enjoy-in December-and-try-to-"endure"-by the-time-February-rolls-around holiday!
