My question...so why do we still try to control our lives so much, knowing that we can't? Please post...

Because our prideful nature usually jumps up in front of the rest of us and says, "I'll handle this!"
Wisdom, coming ever so slowly to our stubborn heads, replies, "sit down, be still, and remember who He is."
My Mom, when undergoing her 2nd bout of chemo, remarked "I wish I wasn't so prideful, so that God didn't have to keep teaching me the same lesson over and over." Her son says that too.
Thanks be to God for his unending patience with us. Especially moi! It's comforting to know he lives with and loves us through our stubborness. Just one more sign of his amazing goodness...
